LifeSG Credits
LifeSG credits are digital vouchers issued by the Singapore government through the LifeSG mobile app to provide financial support directly to citizens.
The credits are designed to help recipients defray living expenses and can be used at physical or online stores across Singapore.
Main Types of LifeSG Credits
- Child LifeSG Credits (CLC): A support scheme to help families manage child-raising expenses. Under the latest disbursement, eligible parents or Child Development Account (CDA) trustees receive $500 per Singapore Citizen child aged 0 to 12 years old.
- Large Family LifeSG Credits: Eligible parents raising three or more Singapore Citizen children receive $1,000 annually for their third and subsequent children. This is disbursed every year from the year the child turns one until they turn six.
- National Service (NS) LifeSG Credits: Past and present national servicemen have also received digital credits (such as the $200 NS LifeSG credits) via the app to recognise their contributions to national defence.
Where You Can Spend Them
The credits are highly flexible and function like a digital wallet. You can use them at any online or brick-and-mortar merchant that accepts

This includes major supermarkets, heartland shops, retail pharmacies, educational or enrichment centers, and utility providers
How to Access and Use the Credits
- Download the LifeSG app on your smartphone.
- Log in securely using your Singpass.
- Scroll down to the "Your benefits" module on the homepage to view your available balance.
- Tap on the benefit, scan the merchant’s QR code, enter the payment amount, and slide to confirm.
